These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Saltybot, an automated trading application developed and operated by Saltyweasel LLC ("Saltyweasel," "we," "us"). By using Saltybot, you agree to these Terms.
Saltybot connects to a brokerage account, monitors market and risk conditions, and may automatically place, manage, or close positions according to configured rules. Saltybot can send SMS notifications about operational events such as broker connectivity issues, authentication token expiration, risk-management actions, forced position closures, and application errors. Saltybot is a software tool for automating and monitoring trading activity. It does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing produced by Saltybot should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or instrument. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
The account owner is responsible for configuring Saltybot correctly, maintaining valid brokerage authentication, monitoring account activity, and responding to operational notifications in a timely manner. Saltyweasel LLC is not responsible for losses resulting from broker outages, expired credentials, market conditions, or configuration errors.
Saltybot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saltyweasel LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including trading losses, arising from use of or inability to use Saltybot.
Saltyweasel LLC may suspend or discontinue Saltybot, in whole or in part, at any time. The account owner may stop using Saltybot and disable SMS notifications at any time as described in our SMS Notifications page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Saltybot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
