SMS Notifications

What These Messages Are

Saltybot can send transactional SMS notifications about the operation of its automated trading application. Messages notify the account owner of critical operational events, including broker API connectivity failures, authentication token expiration, risk management events, forced position closures, and application errors. Messages are sent only in response to system events.

No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent.

How Notifications Are Enabled

SMS notifications are disabled by default. During Saltybot's application setup, the account owner is prompted to enable SMS notifications by entering their mobile phone number and explicitly opting in to receive transactional SMS alerts. Notifications are sent only after the account owner has completed this opt-in.

[TRADER] API unreachable. 3 open positions unmonitored. Check connection immediately.
[TRADER] Circuit breaker triggered. No new entries rest of session.
[TRADER] Token expires in <24h. Re-authorize now or bot halts at next refresh.
[TRADER] MSFT bull_call_spread force-closed at 15:58 into wide spread (24% bid-ask). Review fill.
[TRADER] FOMC calendar out of date - no future meeting dates in config. Update before next meeting.
