What Saltybot Does
Saltybot is an automated trading application developed and operated by Saltyweasel LLC. It connects to a brokerage account, monitors live market and risk conditions, and can automatically manage certain positions on behalf of its account owner including entering trades, applying circuit-breaker rules, and force-closing positions when risk thresholds are triggered.
Because Saltybot operates unattended, timely notice of operational problems such as broker connectivity loss, expiring authentication tokens, forced position closures, or application errors is critical. Saltybot's account owner can enable SMS alerts for exactly these events.
